Deborah's 6th birthday celebrations (18 Aug 2013)

Deborah celebrated her 6th birthday in advance on 8 Aug 2013, which falls on a public holiday (Hari Raya Puasa). We held a BBQ at our home and as always, Deborah got to celebrate with her 2 older couzzies whose birthdays are also in August - Glynis on 1 Aug and Melodie on 19 Aug.

The Castle birthday cake was from E-creative, 2kg with chocolate sponge filling and vanilla cream. It was delicious and it turned out that my hubby and mother-in-law enjoyed the cake, even though they were not avid chocolate lovers.

The 2nd phase of Deborah's birthday celebration was held in school (Bethesda Bedok-Tampines Kindergarten) on 16 Aug 2013. As always, Deborah gets to wear her home clothes, and Mommy chose this dress which was a gift from Da Gu Ma (eldest auntie).

Deborah loves being a princess, so Mommy adorned her with a nice, shiny crown on her head. 

This year, Deborah said she wanted cupcakes for her school birthday celebration. After sourcing for a month, I decided that E-creative's had the most affordable and colourful cupcakes. For 30 cupcakes, it costs about $89.88 (including GST).

 

The final phase of Deborah's 6th birthday celebration was with her 2 grandmothers and the family on her actual birthday (18 Aug 2013) at Seafood Paradise Restaurant.  As you can tell from the pictures below, we had a wonderful evening with the loved ones. 

 

 

And finally, we were proud to present our little sweetie princess a complete Bible with a rainbow-coloured Bible bag for her birthday present. It is our wish that she will read it and grow in the grace, beauty and knowledge of Jesus Christ, our wonderful Savior and Lord.
